    Prior to joining Fieldlens, James interned at NBC News working on app development for the NBC Politics app and the Today app, now used by tens of thousands of people. Upon completing his internship at NBC News, James joined Citigroup as a tech analyst, where he worked with traders to design and implement the frontend for an internal trading application. Having experienced the corporate technology scene, James is happy to be writing code in the startup world.

    Rob Marinaro Android Engineer

    Rob's desire to work for a tech startup stems back to his undergrad work studying software engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Working as a senior support representative at Advent Software, Rob primarily handled Tamale RMS, helping users in finance communicate with each other more efficiently. He also worked with the development team to handle high priority issues and repair defects for upcoming releases. At Fieldlens, Rob focuses on his true passion - creating software.

    Danny Migliorisi Front End Engineer

    Danny joined Fieldlens in August 2012, coming from KickApps, where he worked as a frontend developer and as a community advocate. Often working directly with customers, Danny helped them understand and achieve the ultimate experience using the KickApps platform. Danny also wrote tutorials on white labeling and frontend tactics specific to CSS and JavaScript. Now at Fieldlens, Danny is a frontend engineer responsible for translating design into fully functional and user-friendly tools for the Fieldlens web application.

    Marc joined the Fieldlens team in July 2013, already an experienced web professional passionate about using technology to make people happy. Previously a developer for Kurani Interactive, Marc built content-oriented websites primarily for B2B clientele. Kurani eventually transitioned to Thumb, Inc., a social platform helping its 1.5 million+ users get instant opinions about virtually anything. At Fieldlens, Marc works on the web application as a frontend engineer.

    Prior to joining Fieldlens, Dave’s experience as Director of Moderation Services at social networking app Thumb, Inc had him managing the needs of over 1.5 million users. He was responsible for training and managing in-house and remote teams dedicated to resolving customer concerns in realtime. A positive customer experience is Dave’s first priority, and at Fieldlens he will help manage accounts and coach customers to ensure they are using Fieldlens for optimal jobsite efficiency.

    While attending RIT, Phil was also working for RightNow Technologies assisting in the development of their product performance analytics along with their voice recognition customer support service. Phil eventually moved on to Paychex, where he maintained internal products for sales and support. At Fieldlens, Phil leads the Android team in development and support.

    Kirsten Agnello Operations Manager

    Kirsten joined Fieldlens from CBGB Productions where she managed their office, events and staff. After CBGB’s iconic club closed, Kirsten was the company’s sole employee, helping to build the new face of their brand, which now includes an annual festival and concerts. At Fieldlens, Kirsten works on brand building initiatives alongside making our headquarters a happy place to work by focusing on managing the office, enriching the Fieldlens culture, and generally making things easier and more organized for our team.

    Alvaro Soltero Assistant Product Manager

    Alvaro comes to Fieldlens from mobile payment startup Leaf, where he was in charge of the company’s voice and web content strategy, including the website redesign, all blog content and translating the product team’s efforts into marketing messages. Joining the development team at Fieldlens, Alvaro will help prioritize the product roadmap by coordinating iOS, Android, Web, and Design in building and identifying new opportunities to ensure Fieldlens aligns with the construction industry’s mobile platform needs.

    David Marvasti Front End Engineer

    David is one of those computer engineers who started developing products for the web before most people understood what the web was. As a 14-year old tech enthusiast in the mid-1990’s, he built and managed a prominent multi-node Bulletin Board System (BBS) in Central New York. Shortly after graduating with a degree in Information Management & Technology from Syracuse University, David spent several years working part-time on a 140-acre cattle farm in Central New York, where he baled hay, delivered baby calves, shoveled manure, fixed fences and learned to drive tractors. David additionally worked on the Creative Services team at KickApps and was the Director of Web Development for Piksel Inc. His combination of hands-on work ethic combined with knowledge for developing productive technology platforms embodies what Fieldlens is all about.

    Carson Andrews Design Director

    Carson joins Fieldlens with several years of design experience, most recently working for Q-nomy, where he created and implemented new brand guidelines, generated and oversaw all client-facing materials and led the UI team for all North American client projects. Clients he’s worked with include Comcast, AT&T, NCR, Carnegie Mellon, BECU and several more. At Fieldlens Carson will focus on developing an engaging user experience, ensuring the visual elements of our application are clear and consistent throughout all platforms.

At Fieldlens Aubree works on the Building Better Blog, email marketing, branding, and user experience copy.

    Jamie Roth Assistant Product Manager

    Jamie came to Fieldlens after more than 2 years at Quotidian Ventures, where she started as Director of Community Development and later became an Investment Analyst. At Quotidian, Jamie worked with portfolio companies post-investment to help them achieve their milestones between the Seed and Series A, along with evaluating investment opportunities. She additionally managed fund operations, marketing and social media, sponsorship, and events, along with a position as Project Manager at Matchbook. Jamie currently sits on the Global Community Council for StartupBus, an organization that produces road-trip hackathon events throughout the world. As Assistant Product Manager at Fieldlens, Jamie will be specifically focused on improving the new customer experience in the referral and sign-up process.

    Fernando is a platform engineer at Fieldlens and our resident surfer. Prior to joining Fieldlens, Fernando was a trading systems software developer at Coinsetter, a bitcoin exchange. Before that he was part of the developer team of GMI Ratings. Fernando previously worked Madrid, Spain, for Morgan Stanley, Telefonica, Carrefour, the Official Credit Institute of Spain, and the Andalusian Health System. He graduated from Complutense University in Madrid with a Bachelors in Mathematics.

    Melyssa Davis Senior QA Manager

    Melyssa brings 16 years of experience leading QA teams delivering end-to-end testing on commercial software systems in education, entertainment and electronic trading. Melyssa graduated from University of Michigan and has a Masters degree in Technology Management from NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering. From her first QA job at Scholastic through directing all aspects of quality at New York-based startup Parity Energy, Melyssa delights in assuring the highest quality user experience for the customer. When she's not busy trying to break our app, Melyssa loves to cardio kickbox and practice hatha yoga.

    Rohan Shanbhag Android Developer

    Rohan works with the Android team at Fieldlens. Prior to joining Fieldlens, Rohan was one of the first engineers at Leaf in Boston. He worked on a little bit of everything there, but later worked mainly on their Android-based point-of-sale system. Rohan has a Master's in Computer Science at University of Southern California. He's a huge soccer fan, and loves to play and watch soccer—he even attended the World Cup in Brazil in 2014.

    Andrew Fooden Platform Engineer

    Andrew is a platform engineer at Fieldlens. Prior to joining the team, Andrew served as Lab Manager of a neuroscience lab, studying taste and olfaction signal processing in rats. In the startup world, Andrew applied his background in neuroscience as a data scientist, exploring emotion recognition based on behavioral patterns in humans. He graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience. When he’s not at FieldLens, Andrew enjoys designing games.

    Prior to Fieldlens Lekan worked at The Turner Construction Company for four years. Turner was his first job out of college, where he started as a field engineer and grew in the company to hold roles as an assistant engineer and superintendent. At Turner Lekan worked on four projects: John Jay College, Singapore Chancery for the Embassy of Singapore, Governors Island Facilities Management, and One World Trade Center doing on-call work. Outside of work Lekan plays basketball, soccer, runs a basketball camp with some college classmates, and is a trained salsa dancer.

    Gus worked at a company back in Venezuela that created applications for hospitals and clinics as the Frontend lead developer. The company was big and slow company (boring), and after getting familiar with startups, Gus decided that those were for him. Gus worked at an agency as a solution architect, and at Quotidian Ventures building in-house applications (frontend and backend). He moved to NYC and became the Senior Developer at Matchbook. He learned iOS and took over the development of the app. Technically he wasn't a founder but was there from day one until when they had to move on. At Fieldlens Gus will be the iOS Developer for the Growth Team.

    Emil joins Fieldlens from Booker Software where he spent 18 months in a sales operations/program management role, helping define company KPIs for all departments, and working on all company projects as they related to sales/marketing/product/finance. He helped roll out and train all sales reps on new sales enablement tools and internal efficiency tools created by Booker. Emil is passionate about finding actionable data that helps small companies make decisions and grow — especially working with early stage startups and helping them build from the ground up. Outside of work, he enjoys any type of game involving strategy, watching sports, reading and hanging with his friends.

    Matt Sena Product Marketing Manager

    Matt spent 10 years working in New York City and Chicago as a finance and operations professional specializing in trading, account services and fund management. As a sales-trader on the Institutional Futures Desk at Goldman Sachs, Matt was primarily responsible for growing client business on existing accounts. After leaving Goldman, Matt joined a small hedge fund to build an internal research program, developing and instituting policy and procedures and hiring the initial team. As a portfolio manager Matt’s responsibilities included managing investor relations and production of educational materials for investors. In 2010 Matt left institutional investments to join the startup community and co-founded Fieldlens in 2011.

    A true rags to riches story, Rafi started out as a Visual Design Intern at Fieldlens until he made it full-time as a Junior Product Designer. Before his time at Fieldlens, Rafi attended Tufts University. At Tufts, Rafi began his side hustle, Simplefresh - a unique pocket t-shirt company. At Fieldlens, Rafi works as part of the Growth Team where he focuses on making a better user experience for new customers. In his free time, Rafi enjoys listening to hip hop and chilling with friends.
